We Take Your Pet's Safety Seriously
ChalQuest Boarding Kennels offers indoor/outdoor runs, individual playtimes, baths, comb-outs, & tidy grooms.
Our goal is to provide each of our canine guests with an enjoyable and relaxing visit - whether a first time boarder new to the whole "kennel experience" or a seasoned pro. Our success is evident when a returning canine customer races to the office to greet us.
We are former dog walkers and pet sitters in the area, so we’re used to customized care. We are especially proud of our success with dogs who may have had a negative boarding experience in their past. Feel free to contact us with any special concerns you have about your own dog. We can accommodate almost any special diet, medication regimen, and exercise routine.
We are a small family operation. As such we do NOT mix groups of dogs as is commonly done in most doggie resorts/daycares. Your family pack plays together and hangs with us humans. This prevents injuries that are often unavoidable in group style care. You may request socialization but we will choose when and which dogs we trust to go well together. This will also depend on other owners requesting this same service while yours are here. We have many regular customers who come here because of our separation policies. If you know you have dogs that have issues or are just plain grumpy or untrustworthy in certain situations, please make that clear. It does NOT make them bad dogs. Every dog has their own personality! Sometimes it has zero to do with their breed or “rescue” status. Perhaps we can find discipline, health or other solutions while they are here with us. Regardless, our job is to keep them safe.
Come Check Us Out!
We require all dogs be up to date on their Bordetella, distemper/parvo, and rabies vaccinations.
Please keep all dogs on leash while entering and departing the property: we have poison ivy and wild critters on most of our perimeters, and often dogs loose in the office. Also, our extended property is not securely fenced!
